Genius Orbit · AI Studio
Intelligence,
held to the frame.
Since 2013, Genius Orbit has made commercials, brand films, and visual effects for clients who judge work one frame at a time. Our AI studio carries that discipline into a new medium, on hardware we built, in rooms we run, through software we designed for the way films are truly made.
The origin
From the set to the server.
Before there was a model, there was a camera. Years of live action, compositing, and animation taught us where a picture breaks and what it takes to hold it together. When AI arrived, we did not adopt it. We engineered it, from the ground up, around everything the craft had already taught us.
What follows is the system behind that work: four layers, built in order, each one carrying the next.
01Hardware architecture
Compute, shaped like a film
A picture does not ask for raw power. It asks for the right power, in the right place, at the right moment. Our architecture is drawn from the way a production actually moves, from a single frame in development to thousands in final.
- GPU clustersDedicated to training, fine-tuning, and generation, sized for the resolution a finished film demands.
- Render nodesCPU and GPU capacity for visual effects, simulation, and lighting, working beside the models rather than apart from them.
- Tiered storageFast storage for active shots, deep storage for masters and archives, so nothing waits and nothing is lost.
- High-bandwidth fabricA network between machines wide enough for image sequences, not just files.

02Data center
Rooms built to stay on
Intelligence is only as reliable as the room it lives in. We designed our own machine rooms around three ideas: continuity, protection, and privacy. They are the quiet half of every picture we deliver.
- Power without interruptionRedundant supply and backup, so a long render never meets a dark room.
- Precision climateCooling held steady through every season and every all-night session.
- Physical securityControlled access, recorded entry, and machines that only our people touch.
- A closed networkClient scripts, footage, and assets stay inside our walls, from first upload to final master.

03Operations
Running intelligence like a production
Servers are scheduled the way a shoot is scheduled: by priority, by deadline, by what the picture needs next. Our operations team keeps the whole system in tune, so artists see a studio, not a machine.
- Shot-aware schedulingQueues ordered by delivery dates and creative priority, not by whoever pressed send first.
- Real-time monitoringEvery node, every job, every temperature, watched as it happens.
- Model lifecycleEach model versioned, evaluated, and retired with care, so a look approved today can be reproduced tomorrow.
- Elastic capacityRoom to expand as a series grows, without rebuilding the pipeline beneath it.

04Production platform
One timeline, script to screen
Our film-native collaboration software gathers everything a picture becomes into a single, living timeline. Directors, producers, artists, and engineers work in the same space, on the same frames, with the same truth.
- Script and storyScripts broken into scenes, beats, and shots, ready to be boarded.
- Characters and worldsA shared library that keeps faces, costumes, and places consistent across every sequence.
- Generation and previzShots explored, generated, and refined inside the context of the cut.
- Review and approvalFrame-accurate notes, versions side by side, and nothing moves forward without a human yes.

How a picture moves
Six stages. One standard.
- 01 Brief A story, a script, or only an idea.
- 02 Develop Script, boards, and the look of the film.
- 03 Build Characters, worlds, and assets locked for consistency.
- 04 Generate Shots created and refined on our own compute.
- 05 Review Directors and artists approve every stage.
- 06 Deliver Finished to film standard, for every screen.
Owned, not rented
The hardware, the rooms, and the software are ours. Nothing essential depends on someone else's cloud.
Directed by people
The system serves taste. Every decision that shapes a picture is made by someone who thinks in frames.
Private by design
What a client brings to us stays with us, and leaves only as a finished film.
